"For the majority of people, moving three times in less than four years, is well, nuts! And we would agree with that statement, however life’s path can be unavoidable. All the dealings that go into buying and selling a home add up to stress, not only mentally and physically, but financially too. One component that can make or break all these dealings, is a Real Estate Agent that provides ‘stellar service’, going ‘above and beyond’ the call of duty. Sara Basara is one of those agents…..
….In a nutshell, we were selling a home and looking to build a new one. All great, unless your timelines get out of whack, and for 9 months you need to have a roof over head for a family of 5. This is where Sara’s abilities really shined for us. Looking at rental homes, Sara worked with other agents or landlords, and brought to light the reality that this option was not a good one for this family. With less than 90 days to secure a residence, we were provided through Sara, the option of purchasing an inventory home with a 60 day closing. Deal was done and closed in less than 4 days! Stress…..gone for now, just need to move.
Stress…again….new build slated for a closing of April 2015 – info received from builder the house will be ready January 2015….try informing a family of 5 that the spacious dream home was ready, but we couldn’t move in for about 3 months unless we sold the current residence – through the worst part of the year for real estate – Christmas!
Sara was quick to get together, work out the details of the listing and get our residence on the market. She worked every weekend leading up to the holidays, attempting to get us into our new home as early as possible. Unfortunately the buyer’s end of the market was, well, not buying.
Enter the New Year, a slight change in the approach to selling our home, and BOOM it was sold! With multiple offers!
Working with Sara on a complicated transition to a new home via an interim home, was nothing short of spectacular. Literally, carving pumpkins with our youngest, staging our home to look like a magazine, to always ensuring our best interests were at the forefront, we couldn’t have asked for more.
Unfortunately past experiences with real estate agents did not leave a positive outcome, and when purchasing home #7, it created far too much skepticism…..
…Bottom line, we would work with Sara again and again and again….(hopefully we don’t have to for a while!) but this experience not only improved our trust in real estate agents, but in general humanity as well. Sara’s personality and approach to life, made us feel confident that we would be into our dream home on schedule, and end of the story, we were.

To be honest, I am not sure where to begin. Alex and her team were amazing through and through. From the moment she stepped into our place and introduced herself to the very last minute of closing (actually, she followed up after closing too) it was nothing but the best experience. I've worked with 6 other agents before her. Our closing was not the easiest as there were a few unexpected issues that popped up, but Alex and her team handled them perfectly - I barely had to do a thing! I'd give them 6 stars if I could... highly recommended!
